About The Minneapolis Wedding DJ

We are a Twin Cities wedding entertainment service. We DJ, we MC, we run ceremony sound, we hang lighting, and we spend a lot of time before your wedding making sure the music plan actually matches the night you have in mind.

Why we do it this way

Most wedding DJ complaints come down to the same two things: the music did not sound like the couple, and nobody knew what was happening next. Both are planning problems, not equipment problems. So that is where we put the work.

Before your date, we sit down with your must-play list, your do-not-play list, your ceremony selections, your special dances, your introductions, and your timeline. We write it down, we confirm it with you, and we share the relevant pieces with your venue and your other vendors. By the time guests arrive, the night already has a shape.

Then, once the reception is running, we stay flexible. A plan tells us where the night is going. The dance floor tells us how fast to get there. Good DJing is reading both at once.

What we handle

Reception DJ and MC

Music from cocktail hour through the last dance, plus introductions, announcements, and the microphone work that keeps the room oriented without turning your wedding into a radio show.

Ceremony sound

Processional and recessional music, plus microphones for the officiant, vows, and readings, so the people in the back row hear the part that matters most.

Lighting

Uplighting around the room and lighting over the dance floor, matched to your colors and the venue rather than dropped in as an afterthought.

Music planning

The organizing work: song lists, timeline, special moments, and vendor coordination, handled well before wedding week.

How we work with you

First conversation. You tell us your date, venue, guest count, and what you are picturing. We tell you whether we are available and what it would cost. No pressure, no scripted sales call.
Planning. Once you book, we start building the music plan and timeline together. You can add to it any time between signing and your wedding day.
Final review. A few weeks out, we lock the timeline, confirm the song list, and coordinate with your venue and photographer so everyone is working from the same schedule.
Wedding day. We arrive early, set up, sound check, and then run the night so you do not have to think about it.

Where we work

We serve Minneapolis and the surrounding metro, including St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Crystal, New Hope, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Columbia Heights, and Fridley. If your venue is somewhere else in the Twin Cities, ask us anyway — we travel for the right fit.
